  • I understand by making this reservation I assume full responsibility for the acts, negligence or omissions of the members of my group while utilizing this facility. Additionally, I agree that I have read and understand the terms concerning this reservation, and have also read and understand the cabin rules. All county park rules and state laws are enforced.
  • I understand I must be 21 years of age and authorized to make a reservation on behalf of the group I have listed.
  • Jefferson County Conservation reserves the right to enter the cabin to address maintenance issues or for any other issue that may arise.

Rental Contract Agreement

Facility Contract Agreement
I agree to be responsible for any damages done to Jefferson County Conservation (JCC) property during our stay by ourselves or our guests. I agree JCC may apply an additional fee to wholly or partially satisfy any damages caused by members of said group while using the facilities. Failure to clean up the facility and surrounding area may also result in additional charges and/or suspension of future rentals.

I further agree to abide by all state, county, and JCC rules and regulations. Failure to comply with any park rules may result in fines, forfeiture of fees, and suspension of park privileges. JCC reserves the right to enter the cabins in cases of maintenance or security problems.

Maximum Occupancy: Six (6) people
Alcohol Use: No keg beer. Hard liquor is prohibited.
Smoking & pets are not allowed inside the cabin or on the decks
Key Code: Renter will choose a 4-digit key code upon check out. 

Cancellation Policy

Please consider this policy prior to purchasing your facility reservation. Cancellations or changes must be made 15 days in advance of the reservation.

SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO CANCEL A RESERVATION, YOU WILL FORFEIT 100% OF ALL RESERVATION FEES PAID.

All cancellations or requests to reschedule the date of the reservation cannot be completed online and must be made by calling the Conservation Office (641)-472-4421.

Refund Policy

Please understand at the time of booking your reservation that you immediately prohibit other people from reserving & utilizing that facility - they therefore go elsewhere to locate a facility for that date. However, if you need to change your reservation you have one opportunity to reschedule within 12 months of your reservation date.
If a facility reservation is cancelled by JCC due to a natural disaster or if the facility is unusable, a full refund will be issued to the person that made the original reservation.
The name of the person on the reservation will be the person who can cancel or reschedule a facility reservation. All cancellations or requests to reschedule the date of the reservation cannot be completed online and must be made by calling the Conservation Office (641)-472-4421.

16' x 12’ cabin sleeps five people and comes equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, table and chairs, air conditioner, picnic table, potable water supply and campfire ring.  A shower-restroom facility is nearby.  Cabin #1 is handicapped accessible, has a wheelchair ramp, and is closest to the bathroom and parking lot.

Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 03:00 PM and check-out is before 11:00 AM.

Location Two cabins are located at the west end of the campground in Jefferson County Park which is located at 2003 Libertyville Road, Fairfield Iowa.

Renter will need to bring:
* Complete bedding with pillows, sheets, blankets and/or sleeping bags
* Complete table service with cups, glasses, dishes, eating utensils, cooking utensils, and any cookware needed
* Dish soap, dish cloth, dish towel and potholders
* All bath linens and toiletries  

 

Tents are not permitted in the cabin area - tents may only be placed on designated campsites in adjacent campground
Smoking and pets are NOT allowed inside the cabin
Clean-up of the cabin must be completed prior to check-out and be ready for the next visitors
No more than three vehicles per cabin are allowed at the cabin site during occupancy

Fees

* $55.00 per night
*  Two-night minimum stay on weekends
* Three-day minimum for Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day
* A $4.00 NON-REFUNDABLE "Processing Fee" will be added to each cabin rental at time payment is submitted
* Maximum stay of 14 days  

Hours of Operation & Seasons

* Cabins are available for rent from May-October
* Reservations may be made up to two years in advance
* Reservations must be made 3 days in advance of arrival date
* Check-in time is after 3:00pm at cabin using your four digit code
* Check-out time is before 11:00am
* Quiet hours begin at 10:00pm
* Non-registered guests must leave the park by 10:00pm

Closures

* Campground and cabins are closed November-April
* Cabins may not be used without an advanced reservation and payment of fees
* Cabin tours must be pre-arranged with park staff
