Rental Contract Agreement

  1.  All renters are responsible for cleaning the shelter prior to leaving. 
  2. Trash should be removed and placed in trash can outside near the shelter.
  3. The Lee County Conservation Board is not responsible for personal items that are lost, stolen, or damaged.
  4. The Lee County Conservation Board has adopted a “Burn Where You Buy” policy. Do not bring firewood into Lee County Conservation’s parks. Firewood may be purchased from the Camp Host or Park Ranger for $5.00 per bundle.

The shelter house is located on the west side of the lake off of Iowa Road. The shelter house overlooks the lake in a timber setting and is perfect for small family reunions, graduation parties, and other gatherings. 

Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after N/A and check-out is before N/A.

The 30 foot hexagon shelter features 5 tables,  a grill, and a water hydrant. There is also a playground and port-a-potty located adjacent to the shelter house.

 

 

Fees

The shelter house rents for $40.00 per day. 

Hours of Operation & Seasons

The shelter house is open during normal park hours. If the shelter is not reserved, it operates on a first-come-first-serve basis. Reservations are posted in the shelter house.
