After October 1 campsites are not reservable, but still are available on a first come basis through much of the fall season.  Water and showerhouse will not be available until April 15.   Please call (319) 636-2617 for further information about site. 

 

This 65 foot gravel back-in site is available with 50, 30, and 20 amp electricity for one RV. Modern accessible shower/restroom facilities are located at the north end of the campground with a trailer dump station north of the showerhouse.

Reservations must be made 3 days in advance of the date of reservation - for example to make a Friday reservation, you must reserve the site no later than Monday of that week.

Please read the Facility Contract for additional details and note the No Refund Policy. Fontana Park campground offers additional electric and non-electric campsites that are available on a first come, first serve basis.


Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 03:00 PM and check-out is before 03:00 PM.

Campsite #3 is located southeast of the shower house. ​ Reservable sites have electrical hookups with 50, 30, and 20 amp plug-ins and contain a 65' x 10' gravel pad.  Only one RV per site is allowed. 

Firewood is available for purchase at $5/bundle ​by talking to the Camp Host or Park Ranger. 

Fees

Only one RV per site is allowed. $23 per night with electricity. The reservation allows up to 5 people to use the site. There is an option to purchase  additional users, up to a maximum of 10 people per site.  Cost is $5.00 and must be selected at checkout. 


Hours of Operation & Seasons

The campgrounds are open from April 15th until October 1st. Campgrounds are open only to registered campers after 10:30 pm. Check out time is 3:00 pm.
