Wapello County

Wapello County Conservation is located in southeast Iowa and is home to the Pioneer Ridge Nature Area & Center. The Wapello CCB collectively manages 12 parks and natural areas - encompassing over 2000 acres - throughout the county. In combination, these areas provide extremely diverse habitats providing residents with a wide range of outdoor recreational activities.

Mission: To create awareness of our natural environment by providing quality outdoor experiences.
