Johnson County Conservation is located in southeast Iowa - the largest city in Johnson County is Iowa City, home to the University of Iowa. The Johnson CCB currently manages 21 parks, preserves, conservation areas and river accesses encompassing some 2,500 acres across the county. They manage natural resources and outdoor recreation areas throughout the county - several native prairies, river access areas, small community parks, and the 1,062 acre F.W. Kent Park provide a variety of services in natural resources recreation, and conservation.
