The Dickinson County Conservation Board runs the Dickinson County Nature Center in the heart of the Okoboji area. Stop by year-round for interactive and educational exhibits for all ages as well as free public programs. The conservation board also manages more than 10 county parks and areas, maintains the Dickinson County trails, runs the Dickinson County Regional Collection Center and staffs the seasonal Abbie Gardner Cabin & Museum as well as the Westport Schoolhouse.
