The Walleye cabin is one of the five small cabins located at Featherstone Memorial Park. The cabin itself is just feet away from the water’s edge of North Twin Lake with a beautiful view. Walleye cabin can sleep 6 people comfortably (2 people on each full bed and 1 person on each twin). Inside the cabin you will find two bunks with a full and twin mattress on each, kitchen table with chairs, a microwave, a mini fridge, an ac/heat unit and a bathroom with a flush toilet and sink.

The Walleye cabin features a covered cement patio deck overlooking the picturesque Lake. A picnic table sits on the deck and a fire ring sit right in front of the cabin. Throughout the park you will find a trail that goes all the way around the lake, disc golf area, a fantastic lake for boating, a playground, and an entire shoreline to fish from. No pets allowed in the cabin.

DAMAGE / CLEANING DEPOSIT - $200 Refundable - in addition to the rental fee

Renter will need to bring:

  • Complete linens, blankets, sleeping bags and pillows. (2 full size sheets for 2 full size beds: twin size sheets for 2 twin beds)
  • Bath linens and toiletries (CCCB will supply toilet paper)
  • Food and beverages
  • Lawn chairs (cabin furniture not allowed outside cabin) 

·         Items renters may want to bring include lawn chairs, flashlights, and games.

Pet Policy: As a friendly reminder, all Cabins offered by the Calhoun County Conservation Board are animal free cabins. If an animal is seen entering and exiting the cabins, the reserving party will be asked to leave regardless of whether the animal is theirs or a visitors. If a reserving party is asked to leave, a refund will not be issued.

Fees

FULL PAYMENT IS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF RESERVATION. 

*NEW* Effective January 1, 2023  County Hotel/Motel TAX will increase from 0% to 7%. 

There is now a fee of a 5% statewide Hotel/Motel Consumer's Use Tax imposed on the rental of recreational cabins, plus a 7% Calhoun County hotel/motel tax for a total of 12% tax. This will be pulled from the $75 a night charge for the cabin.

Peak Season – April - Second week in November

  • Weekdays (Sun-Thurs)      $75/night plus $200 deposit
  • Weekends (Fri-Sat)            $75/night plus $200 deposit
  • Minimum of two nights required

Off-Season – Second week in November - March 

  • Closed

Cabin rental must be in the name of a person 21 years of age or older who will be present at the facility for the full term of the reservation.

There are NO DISCOUNTS for youth groups, seniors or multiple reservations.

*NEW* DEPOSIT REQUIRED: This facility requires that an additional deposit check in the amount of $200.00 be mailed to the Conservation Office no later than two weeks from the date you made your reservation. This deposit is refundable if there is no damage and cleaning has been completed as posted.   • Cabins are open during the park season
  • Check-in time:   4:00 pm - no earlier
  • Check-out time:  10:00 am - no later
  • Renters must have the facility and area cleaned and exited by scheduled check-out time.

Fees

Cabin Walleye is available by online reservation only. Reservations can be made from April through the second week in November and rents for $75.00 per night. This cabin has a two-night minimum stay and Friday, and Saturday must be rented together. Memorial Day and Labor Day are a minimum of three-night stay and fourth of July will depend where it lands on the week.
