The area contains 4 primitive camping areas with a total of 24 campsites. Water pumps and handicap accessible pit toilets are available throughout the park. Campsites are available first come, first served from spring through fall.

Martin Area also features 28 picnic shelters, river access for anglers and canoeists, and scenic hiking trails through prairie, savanna and woodland habitats.

This is an excellent area for birdwatching, mushroom and berry picking, horse riding and cross country skiing

Snowmobiling is permitted on roads within the park. (No motorized vehicles on trails!)

We sell firewood $5/10 pieces! Call us at 712-225-6709 or email us at cherokeeccb@gmail.com and we can deliver to the campground! You can also flag down a CCCB truck in the campground.

 

Please read the County Park's Rules and Regulations before camping with us that include:

  • Dogs must be on a leash at all times
  • No fireworks
  • No ATV/UTV
  • No target shooting
