Primitive Campground- Martin's Access
The area contains 4 primitive camping areas with a total of 24 campsites. Water pumps and handicap
accessible pit toilets are available throughout the park. Campsites are
available first come, first served from spring through
fall.
Martin Area also features
28 picnic shelters, river access for anglers and canoeists, and scenic hiking
trails through prairie, savanna and woodland habitats.
This
is an excellent area for birdwatching, mushroom and berry picking, horse riding and cross
country skiing
Snowmobiling is permitted
on roads within the park. (No motorized vehicles on trails!)
We sell firewood $5/10 pieces! Call us at 712-225-6709 or email us at cherokeeccb@gmail.com and we can deliver to the campground! You can also flag down a CCCB truck in the campground.
Please read the County Park's Rules and Regulations before camping with us that include:
- Dogs must be on a leash at all times
- No fireworks
- No ATV/UTV
- No target shooting
Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 03:00 PM and check-out is before 03:00 PM.
