The Silver Sioux Lodge was once a warming house for the sledding hill next to it. After it was closed, the warming house was converted into an overnight facility with a woodstove and a heating/AC unit. The Lodge includes are large meeting/gathering space, a living area with couch, loveseat, coffee table and TV, and table and chairs for 24 people. In the kitchen, you will find microwave, stove/oven, dishwasher, serving bar, cooking utensils, and silverware, plates, and cups for 24 people. With 3 bedrooms, you can sleep up to 18! In one bedroom, there is 2 double bunkbeds. Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature on the cement patio with picnic tables, fire ring, and standup grill!

 

We sell firewood $5/10 pieces! Call us at 712-225-6709 or email us at cherokeeccb@gmail.com and we can deliver to the campground or facility! You can also flag down a CCCB truck in the campground.

Firewood will be provided for the wood stove during the off season (November-April)

 

Bedding and Toiletries not provided

No pets and no smoking.

The Silver Sioux Lodge, built in 1975, was originally a rustic warming shelter for winter visitors to the tubing hill. Operation of the tubing hill rope lift was ceased in the late 1990s due to maintenance and safety concerns.

The Lodge has since received several updates and now includes a full kitchen, an indoor restroom complete with a handicap-accessible shower, a wood burning stove, sitting area, three bedrooms with full-size beds and an outdoor patio with a fire ring, new 3'x3' charcoal grill and permanent landscaping provide the perfect setting for a comfortable "camp-out."

Tables and chairs seating for up to 24 visitors.

Renters must provide their own bedding and towels.
