The Bunkhouse is an approximate 1/4 mile hike from the main road in to an area that is referred to as the "back valley".  It is a beautiful, isolated getaway spot for those who really want to escape the stress of everyday life for a couple of nights or a couple weeks. Electricity, small refrigerator, hotplate, wood burning stove and firewood is available. Water must be carried in; hydrants are available in the main campground. Pit toilet nearby. A modern shower house is located in the main campground. Bedding, towels, and kitchen utensils are not provided.

Hiking trails, an observation tower and a swinging bridge are all nearby. Cross country skiing is a favorite winter activity.

$50/night payable by Visa or Mastercard. Sorry, but we are currently unable to accept Discover Cards.

The Bunkhouse is in an isolated portion of the park. It is a 1/4 mile hike to the cabin from the parking area. Bunkhouse renters must pack in all of their supplies. Twin mattresses are provided, but you must bring your own bedding. Water is not available at the Bunkhouse. Bunkhouse users must haul in their own water. Water is available in the main campground. A pit toilet is located near the bunkhouse. Bunkhouse guests may also use the main campground shower house.
