·From Adel, go west on County Road F60 (Old Hwy 6) approximately 3 miles to Panther Creek Road
·Turn south on Panther Creek Rd and proceed approx. 1 mile to a T-intersection.
·Turn left (east) to stay on Panther Creek Rd. Go east for approx. ¼ mile, then turn back to the right (south).
·The entrance to the area is on the right (west) side of the road, just before the road bends to the east.

Operating Hours & Seasons

Glissman Conservation Area is open ½ hour before sunrise and closed at 10:00 p.m. each day.

Glissman Lodge is available to rent May through October, with April and November rentals possible if weather conditions permit.

Glissman Conservation Area is approximately 5 miles southwest of Adel along the Raccoon River Greenbelt.
