    Rental Contract Agreement

    • The person responsible for the rental must be at least 21 years of age.
    • Check in time: 8 a.m.
    • Check out time: 10:30 p.m.
    • Maximum number of occupants is 100 people.
    • Non-registered guests must leave by 10:30 p.m.
    • Quiet hours are from 10:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.
    • No pets allowed in picnic shelters.
    • No smoking allowed in picnic shelters.
    • All trash must be placed in the receptacle or taken with you.
    • Temporary free-standing signs are allowed. Signs are not to be attached to furniture, sign posts, kiosks, or facilities.
    • All rules and regulations of the Floyd County Conservation Board are in effect. Failure to abide by rules may result in expulsion and forfeiture of all rental fees.

    Cancellation Policy

    If you need to cancel a reservation, you will forfeit 100% of all reservation fees paid. All cancellations must be made by calling the Floyd County Conservation office at 641-756-3490.

    Refund Policy

    All reservations with Floyd County Conservation facilities are final. Reservations are non-refundable, unless the following situations occur:
    o Accident, serious injury, death in immediate family
    o The National Weather Service has issued severe weather and/or travel conditions.
    o We are unable to provide your facility in operable condition for the date of your event.
    o Military deployment

    All requests for refunds must be made by calling the Floyd County Conservation office at 641-756-3490.

    Location Nearby to the kilns used by the Rockford Brick & Tile Company, on the east side of the Fossil & Prairie Park Preserve.

    Located near the site of the Rockford Brick & Tile Company, this shelter provides a great lunch spot or resting spot while hiking trails or fossil hunting. Shelter contains 6 - 8' picnic tables and there is a waterless restroom nearby.
