This is an electric site only.

The site may be reserved up to one year in advance and must be made at least 5 days in advance of the date of reservation.

There are no refunds due to cancellation and moving between sites is not allowed. If you need to change your reservation you have one opportunity to reschedule.

The occupancy limit is 14 consecutive days, the unit must then leave the park overnight. Reservations are posted at each site 5 days in advance of the reservation. If not reserved, sites are available on a first come – first serve basis until the day of the reservation. Additional sites are available on a first come – first serve basis. Only one camping unit is allowed per site with an additional tent allowed for children under 18. One additional vehicle is allowed at campsite.


Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 04:00 PM and check-out is before 04:00 PM.

Location Campsite is located along the west shoreline of Spring Lake.

Permits

  • Quiet hours are from 10:30 P.M. – 6:00 A.M.
  • Camp visitors must vacate park by 10:30 P.M.
  • All pets must be kept on a six foot leash and attended at all times.
  • Only vehicles legally licensed for road use will be allowed on park roads.
  • The camping unit, including awnings, slide outs and vehicles must be between numbered sign posts.

Greene County

The Greene County Conservation Board is located in west central Iowa and currently manages 20 areas encompassing some 1,845 acres. Greene County is home to Iowa's second oldest county park - Squirrel Hollow - built by Civil Works Administration crews in 1934, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  Other highlights include Spring Lake Park, a favorite of many campers, and the Raccoon River Valley Trail.  Seven concrete boat ramps spaced along 40 miles of the North Raccoon River provide easy access for those wanting to canoe or kayak.
