- Please understand that this is not a fully enclosed shelter and while staff will clean the shelter prior to rentals; insects, birds, leaves, etc. can still enter the shelter openings and leave debris after cleaning.
Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 07:00 AM and check-out is before 10:30 PM.

Closures
Shelter is available year round. Restroom facilities are open May 1 through October 15th dependent on weather
Permits
Weddings and groups over 100 people MUST complete and submit a Special Event Permit Application to the HCCB 30 days prior to the event. Special Event Policy and Application are available on he Hancock County Home Page. The Conservation Board will review permit applications at a monthly meeting. Approved permits cost are $50 which is due after approval.
