LocationHead west out of Swea City on Highway 9 for 3 miles, then turn north on county road P20 (40th Ave.) and continue for 7 miles until you enter the park.

Operating Hours & Seasons The campground opens around the middle of April and closes around the beginning of November each year depending on the weather.

Discover Burt Lake in Armstrong

A lake formed by the glaciers, Burt lake sits on the Iowa-Minnesota border north and west of Swea City, Iowa. It offers camping with electrical hookups and pit latrines, hunting, fishing, hiking, and picnicking. It is 145 acres.
