The seven Group Camp facilities at Pinicon Ridge provide great opportunities for larger groups or youth groups to reserve a semi-modern to primitive area at the park to have available for their group upon arrival. Group Camping is for groups of six people or more and that have a minimum of three camping units.

Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 03:00 PM and check-out is before 01:00 PM.

Location The Pinicon Ridge Group Camp Complex is located in the far north end of the park on the west side of the Wapsipinicon River. Enter through the south park entrance off Maine Ridge Road. Visitors will need to follow the main park road for approximately 2.2 miles to arrive in the group camps. The access road to this area of the park is a narrow gravel road which traverses some steep terrain. Larger pull-type RVs have been know to have difficulty on these hills, and are therefore not recommended. Generally - automobiles/trucks/SUVs with pop-up trailers or motorhomes have no problems on this road.
