This is an open air ADA accessible steel structure shelter house built in 2013 at Marion County Park.  The structure is 30 feet wide and 50 feet long, placed on a concrete slab 38 feet wide and 68 feet long.There are 12 wood picnic tables included inside and 2 charcoal / wood cooking grills located on the extended concrete slab outside of the shelter. 

A modern restroom facility is located next to the shelter and a playground directly across the street.

Reservations must be made 4 days in advance of the date of reservation. For example to make a Saturday reservation, you must reserve the facility no later than Tuesday of that week.

Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 09:00 AM and check-out is before 10:00 PM.

Marion County Park is located on the southwest corner of the city of Knoxville at 306 Willetts Drive.

Fees

The rate for a day rental is $40.00. This fee is Non-Refundable.
A $4.00 NON-REFUNDABLE "Processing Fee" will be added to each shelter rental at time payment is submitted.
The full fee payment is required at the time of a reservation
Maximum 3 consecutive day rental

 
RESERVATIONS:
*  Reservations may be made up to ONE YEAR in advance of your rental date.
*  Rental must be in the name of a person that is 18 years of age or older who will be present at the facility for the
   full term of the reservation.
*  If beer or wine will be at the facility, rental must be in the name of a person who is 21 years of age or older who
   will be present at the facility for the full term of the reservation.
*  
Shelters are NOT RESERVED from the last Sunday in October through the first Thursday in April.
*  
If a shelter is not reserved, the public may use the shelter on a first-come, first-serve basis free of charge.
*  Shelters may not be rented or used for solicitation of goods, yard sales, bake sales, food trucks etc.
*  
Shelter will not be available for rental on certain dates in August, due to Special Annual Events.
*  A Shelter Reservation must be made at least four days in advance of the rental date.
*  All personal items must be removed from the shelter each day by 10 pm.
*  
Discount Cards such as: "America the Beautiful", "Golden Age", "Golden Access", etc.; are not accepted when
   making reservations for MCCB facilities.

Shelter Check in time: (earliest 9:00 am).   Shelter Check out time: (latest 10:00 pm).
Open seasonally from the second Friday in April till the last Sunday in October.
