Marion County Park, 3 Shelter House
This is an open air wooden structure shelter house at
Marion County
Park. The structure is 22 feet wide and 25 feet long,
placed on a concrete slab 22 feet wide and 36 fee long. There are 8 wood picnic tables included inside and 1 cooking grill
outside of the shelter. Shelter #3 has a scenic view of the Marion County Park pond; a rustic covered bridge
sets next to the shelter as well.
A modern restroom facility is close by the shelter and a playground next to it.
Reservations must be made 4 days in advance of the date of reservation. For example to make a Saturday reservation, you must reserve the facility no later than Tuesday of that week.
Please note this shelter has a distance of approximately 50 yards to either parking lot. Driving off the roadway is prohibited.

Fees
The rate for a day rental is $25.00. This fee is Non-Refundable
A $4.00 NON-REFUNDABLE "Processing Fee" will be added for each shelter rental at time payment is submitted.
The full fee payment is required at the time of a reservation
Maximum 3 consecutive day rental
RESERVATIONS:
* Reservations may be made up to ONE YEAR in advance of your rental date.
* Rental must be in the name of a person that is 18 years of age or older who will be present at the facility for the
full term of the reservation.
* If beer or wine will be at the facility, rental must be in the name of a person who is 21 years of age or older who
will be present at the facility for the full term of the reservation.
* Shelters are NOT RESERVED from the last Sunday in October through the first Thursday in April.
* If a shelter is not reserved, the public may use the shelter on a first-come, first-serve basis free of charge.
* Shelters may not be rented or used for solicitation of goods, yards sales, bake sales, food trucks, etc.
* Shelter will not be available for rental on certain dates in August, due to Special Annual Events.
* All personal items must be removed from the shelter each day by 10 pm.
* Discount Cards such as: "America the Beautiful", "Golden Age", "Golden Age Access", etc.; are not accepted when
making reservations for facilities.

Open seasonally from the second Friday in April till the last Sunday in
October.
