The RT Reese Homestead is nestled along the slope of the Loess Hills overlooking the Missouri River bottom and sits on the Loess Hills National Scenic Byway (Larpenteur Memorial Road). The Homestead is surrounded by 713 acres of public land owned by the Monona County Conservation Board or the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. While visiting the RT Reese Homestead you will have easy access to the Davis Wetland and the surrounding hills, making it one of the few places in Iowa with easy public access to wetlands, grasslands and timber.
