Overview
15 miles of multi-use trails can be found within Pioneer Ridge Nature Area's 995 acres. Trails consist of upland mowed grass trails, and woodland bare soil trails. A large parking area for horse trailers is available as well as a round pen, 4 loafing sheds, and a small shelter for riders to rest after a long ride.

Horseback riders can also find camping, cabins, shelters, fishing ponds and the nature center at Pioneer Ridge Nature Area
Hours
Trails are open during regular park hours, but they may be closed due to poor or wet trail conditions. Trail status can be found on the Wapello CCB website and Facebook pages.

Trails will be closed after park hours and when trail conditions are poor.
