Cabin Rental Contract Agreement (Please read prior to making any reservations.)

 

By your agreement with these terms and conditions, you represent that you are 21 years or older.

You further agree to assume full responsibility for the acts, negligence or omissions of the members of your group while utilizing said facilities.

Additionally, you agree that you have read and understand the CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICIES concerning this reservation, and have also read and understand the FACILITY CONTRACT information.

Renter will mail in the $100 deposit (cash or check- NO money orders) within 14 days of reserving a facility. If you wish to pay via Credit Card, the Cherokee County Conservation will email you an invoice where you can pay over Square; THERE IS A NON-REFUNDABLE 3% CREDIT CARD FEE. Your deposit will be returned pending facility inspection. 

You are reserving a facility in a Cherokee County Conservation Board park. ALL COUNTY PARK RULES AND STATE LAWS ARE ENFORCED. Contact the office if you have any questions about park rules, policies or special requests.

Failure to clean up the facility or surrounding area as outlined, or failure to comply with park rules or state laws may result in enforcement action. Cherokee County Conservation Board may take any legal action necessary to recover damages to county property.

  • CHECK-IN TIME- After 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.
  • CHECK-OUT TIME- Before 11:00 AM on day of departure.
  • GETTING INTO FACILITY- The cabin has a pin-pad entry door. The 4 digit pin number is the last four digits of the phone number we have on file. (For example 867-5309, the code would be 5309.)
  • GENERAL INFORMATION- Violation of any state law or county regulation by any member of the rental party is cause for revocation of the rental privilege and the entire party may be required to leave the area.
  • MAXIMUM LENGTH OF STAY- No renter shall occupy any cabin for more than 14 days. There is a two night requirement.
  • PETS- Pets are NOT allowed in the cabin. Failure to comply will result in loss of deposit and/or removal of renters without refund.
  • CLEAN-UP- You are required to clean-up the facility and grounds and return them to the condition you received them. Plan to have your facility cleaned and people departed prior to the scheduled 11:00 AM check-out time.
  • FIREWOOD-  Firewood is available for purchase from CCCB. Please call the office if you are wanting any. Remember, “BUY LOCAL, BURN LOCAL"
  • SMOKING-  Smoking is prohibited in all buildings.

Cancellation Policy

Cherokee County Conservation has the following cancellation policy:

 

If you cancel over 14 days in advance, you will be refunded 75% of the rental cost.

If you cancel within 14 days, you will not be refunded.

 

CCCB allows one reschedule within the next 365 days without penalty. Please call 712-225-6709 to reschedule.

Refund Policy

If a reservation is canceled by Cherokee County Conservation Board due to the following:

  • We are unable to provide your facility (or a similar facility) in operable condition for the dates reserved
  • Accident or serious death/injury of an immediate family member
  • Travel conditions where a substantial risk is required in order to travel- such as a winter storm where a travel warning has been issued

You can either receive a refund OR reschedule within the next 365 days without penalty. Please call 712-225-6709 to request a refund or reschedule.


A large family rental cabin was completed in February 2014. This 30x40ft, two story cabin offers its own private outdoor patio, grill and fire ring and a covered porch which keeps the rain off your head while you enjoy the sounds and sights of the surrounding oak woodlands. This cabin has full restroom with an ADA shower. This cabin also boasts a full kitchen including an island and chairs with a full size fridge, range, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cooking and eating utensils for twenty four. It also has a  large sitting area with sectional reclining couch and coffee table to relax in.  For bigger gathering this cabin provides a seating area with four round tables and 24 folding chairs.

The family cabin offers three bedrooms and sleeps 12 people.  There is one bedroom on the lower level with one queen size bed that meets ADA requirements. A bedroom on the second floor has 3 queen size beds and a loveseat sofa. The other bedroom upstairs has 2 queen beds and both offer great views of the campground and surrounding woodlands. 

 

We sell firewood $5/10 pieces! Call us at 712-225-6709 or email us at cherokeeccb@gmail.com and we can deliver to the campground! You can also flag down a CCCB truck in the campground.

Bedding and Toiletries not provided
No pets and no smoking.

 

Please read the County Park's Rules and Regulations before staying with us that include:

  • Dogs must be on a leash at all times
  • No fireworks
  • No UTV/ATV
  • No target shooting

Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 03:00 PM and check-out is before 11:00 AM.

$190/ night with a two night minimum
$100 (if you pay with a credit card, there is a non-refundable 3% fee) refundable cleanup deposit required
