Rental Contract Agreement
By agreeing with these terms and conditions, you represent that you are 18 years old and that you are authorized to make the reservation on behalf of the group listed. You further agree to assume full responsibility for the acts, negligence or omissions of the members of your group while using campground.
Check in: After 3 PM on the day of arrival
Check out: By 1PM on day of departure
General Information/Rules
• A camping unit cannot occupy a campsite for more than 14 days in a 21-day period.
• There is a 2 car limit at each campsite with designated areas. Do not park in loop or along roads.
• Non-registered guests must leave the campsite and Pioneer Ridge Nature Area before 10:30 pm.
• Parties over six (6) should be held at one of the shelters on property.
• Pets must be leashed at all times.
• Pet waste must be cleaned up from the campsite daily.
• Horses must be kept at designated hitching posts or loafing shed, NOT at campsites.
• Additional tents are only allowed for minors of camping party/ A $5 fee will be charged for an additional tent at site MAX of 1 additional tent.
• Fires will be restricted to the provided fire ring.
• No rental party shall occupy any campsite for more than 14 days in a 21 day period.
• Campsite quiet hours are enforced from 10:30 pm to 6:00 am.
• The Wapello County Conservation Board reserves the right to enter the campsite for maintenance or security problems
.• All Wapello County Conservation Board rules and regulations will apply.
Firewood
• Firewood is sold at $5 per 10" x 12" bundle. Firewood can be purchased at the Pioneer Ridge Nature center during open hours (Monday - Friday from 8AM- 4:30PM). Bringing your own firewood is strictly PROHIBITED due to possible insect and tree disease exposure.
• Stripping tree bark for starting fires is not allowed.
• There will be no tree cutting for dragging logs, branches, etc. from surrounding area to be burned.
Clean-up & Damages
• You are required to clean the campsite and grounds and return them to the condition you received them.
• Plan to have your campsite cleaned and people departed prior to your scheduled checkout time
• Repair of any damage not caused by normal wear and tear will be charged to the renter.
• Failure to pay the fee will result in further action to collect the debt.
Visitors
All visitors must depart the area by 10:30 PM.
Alcohol
Keg beer is prohibited in the campground unless prior approval is given by the Board after a keg permit is filled out.
Reservation Modifications (Including Date Change)
• All reservation changes will be charged a $15 fee.
• Name of person on contract will be the only person who can make modifications to the rental reservation.
• All reservation modifications must be made by calling the WCCB office at 641-682-3091.
• In order to make any modifications to an existing reservation, the request must be made a minimum of 14 days prior to the date on which the facility is reserved.
Refuse
All refuse must be bagged and taken to the dumpsters provided in the area. Do not burn trash.
